The Chronoloogical events of the arrival of Baby Dit Dot

Date: 1st April (2 days overdue)
Time: 8 pm

An appointment with Dr Razif. Dilation was still unchanged. 2 cm. Baby still not engaged. Head quite high. Scheduled for a c-section on Friday, 4th April 2008.

Date: 1st April
Time: 11.30 pm

Water bag broke. Quite confused at first becasue it was not much at first. Ignored the first rush. The second and the third came like waterfall. Called the hospital, was asked to come in.

Date: 2nd April
Time: 12 something a.m

Admitted. No contraction. Prep for c- section at 8 am.

Time: 1 am

Contractions started. Nothing mild about this time around. Was given sleeping pill. Didn't work. Woke up the entire nite in pain.

Time: 7 a.m

Baby still not engaged. Pushed to the operating theatre. Screaming for anaesthetic.

Time: 7.45 a.m

Was given G.A. Knocked out during the entire surgery.

TIme: 8.15 am

Baby Dit Dot (Still can't decide on the name..sorry baby) was born.

Weight: 3.9 kg
Lenght: 57 cm
Healthy and very 'apek' looking

Time: 12.20 pm

Woke up. Was quite unsure whether the baby was delivered or not. No one was in the room except my husband. Was shown the photos. Then Dit Dot was sent to the room and he's so perfect.. but he looked nothing like the both of us though.. Straight hair, extremely sepet eyes (will upload photos once i'm out of the hospital)

Date: 3rd April

Allowed to drink liquids. Already walking. Off the catheter. Still in pain- but bearable,

Date: 4th April.

Can eat now! Yeay.. bloody hungry! Pain not so bad, everything looks ok. Will be discharged tomorrow. My bread just arrived with (i'm sure another cup of milo) so I'm going to go now.. will continue blogging later...

Bye guys! Thank you for all the prays and wishes. Though it's not a normal delivery as I was hoping, but the baby is healthy and everyting went well.. and I was a bit ambitious though.. don't think I could ever bear such pain again ... :)
